Refund Policy
This example policy is written for service, workshop and consultancy payments.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees for services.
2. Change of mind
Change-of-mind refunds are not automatically available once preparation, review, scheduling or service delivery has begun. Keen Science may consider a change-of-mind request case by case.
3. Deposits
Deposits secure time, preparation and availability. A deposit may be non-refundable where the agreed preparation or scheduling work has already occurred, except where a remedy is required by law.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Customers should provide as much notice as possible. Where reasonable notice is provided, Keen Science may reschedule the service or apply the paid amount to another suitable service.
5. Service issues
If a delivered service has a major problem, customers may be entitled to a refund or other remedy. If the issue is minor and can be fixed, Keen Science may first offer correction, redelivery or replacement materials.
6. Refund method
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible.
